Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details. When you sign up — with Apple, Google, Microsoft or an email and password — we store your name, email address and profile image. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we never see or store your password.
• Study data. Sessions you start and finish, their duration and goal, the topics you tag them with, the groups you belong to, and the XP, levels, streaks and achievements derived from them.
• Group membership. The groups you create or join, your role in each, and the invite codes tied to your membership.
• Usage data. Which pages and screens you visit, the features you use, and product events such as starting a session or joining a group. We use this to understand what people actually do in Nuthakr and what to build next.
• Waitlist signups. If you enter your email on this website, we store that address and which part of the page you submitted it from, so we can email you at launch.

What we do not collect

Nuthakr has no advertising and no cross-site or advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models. The app does not ask for your location, contacts, camera roll or microphone.

What other people can see

Study groups are shared spaces by design. Other members of a group you belong to can see your name, profile image, and the study time and session counts you contribute to that group — that is what makes the leaderboard and the shared weekly goal work. Members of other groups cannot see any of it.

Who processes your data

• Clerk — authentication and identity.
• Convex — the database and backend that stores your groups, sessions and stats.
• PostHog — product analytics for the app and this website.
• Netlify — hosting for this website.
• Apple and Google — app distribution, if you install from their stores.

Each acts as a processor on our behalf and is bound by its own agreement with us.

How long we keep it

Study and group records are retained for as long as your account exists. Deleting content in the app removes it from everything you and your groups can see, but we keep the underlying record rather than erasing it, and copies may persist in our providers' backups.

To have your account and the data attached to it erased, email dev@goco.dev from your account address and we will action it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Waitlist emails have an unsubscribe link in every message we send, and you can ask to be removed at any time. Write to dev@goco.dev.

Children

Nuthakr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
